Job description
We're looking for a hands-on Mechatronics Engineer to design, integrate, and validate electromechanical subsystems for advanced surgical robotic platforms. You'll work across electronics, embedded systems, and mechanical hardware to build reliable, testable solutions in a quality-driven development environment.
What You'll Work On
Plan and define system architecture for electromechanical subsystems.
Integrate electronics, embedded systems, and mechanical components at the subsystem level.
Lead subsystem verification and validation, including POC builds and benchmarking.
Develop test jigs, fixtures, and structured validation processes.
Benchmark actuators (motors, encoders, sensors) and evaluate system performance.
Debug and validate using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
Build proof-of-concept embedded firmware in C/C++ for testing and validation.
Coordinate across electronics, embedded, mechanical, and clinical teams for seamless integration.
Preferred Background
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in electromechanical system integration or robotics development.
Hands-on experience in subsystem prototyping, harness definition, and validation.
Strong understanding of motors, encoders, sensors, and control systems fundamentals.
Proficiency in embedded prototyping (C/C++) and hardware debugging tools.
What You'll Gain
Ownership of subsystem design and validation for cutting-edge surgical robotics.
Hands-on exposure across electronics, embedded, and mechanical domains.
Close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in a structured, quality-driven environment.
